Hello lovelies!

These last 8 days have been colorful… yeah colorful, lets stick with that. My troublesome week and a day started last Sunday. Early that morning we had one angry storm. During that storm the lights went in and out. One of those times caused some kind of energy surge that fried my internet modem. I was without internet until the new modem arrived Tuesday. That modem did not work either and we found out that, that where the internet connects to my desktop was fried also. While I was on the phone trying to get a little help from Verizon, we had an earth quake! Yes an earthquake! So the guy said another one will be sent out.

Its Wednesday now and I received another modem. It doesn’t work right away. By this time I already know I can’t hook up the internet to my desktop so I use my laptop. I call Verizon again and after about an hour we get it working. I was so happy and relieved at this point. So I hook up my wireless router so my phone and printer can work. It was a no go. The place where the internet hooked up to the router was also fried! I couldn’t understand how only parts of these electronics aren’t working. But I was okay with this my internet was working and that’s all I cared about. I’ll get another router soon.

So Thursday comes around and I’m ready to get back into the swing of things. I start with my blog because its been horribly neglected. Now before my internet went out I was working on my blog trying to update it unsuccessfully. Come to find out what I was trying to update could only be updated by Yahoo. So when I went back to my blog Thursday it wasn’t there. I couldn’t remember what I did so I could undo it. I spent that whole day trying to fix what I broke. I never did and I decided to start over. I do have the back up from my old blog post but I have yet to sit down and learn how to use it and I’m not sure if I will. I needed a change so I embraced this one and kept it moving.

Friday and most of Saturday I was in a rush to complete some things before the storm hit. Yes another storm was heading our way and it was suppose to be a bad one. Saturday night the power went out and it just came back on an hour ago.

I’m hopping for a calmer week. I hope you all had a better week and weekend than mine and I hope all those affected by this hurricane are well . Until we meet again. Peace and love, Ashley
